We’re rounding up June with an array of new features and enhancements to improve your Sapaad experience and your customers’ with your business.
In case you missed it, here are a few highlights from our June updates.
1. Facebook Pixel available in Sapaad.Online
We’ve introduced the ability for you to link Facebook Pixel in Sapaad.Online.
With this real-time analytics tool, you can get amazing insights into how your online store is performing. Measure and optimize the effectiveness of your ads; reach new customers by ensuring your ads are shown to the right people; and drive sales by targeting audiences most likely to order from your online store.
2. Sapaad iOS now comes with Business Summary
With the Business Summary now available on Sapaad’s iOS app, you can easily view and print your daily business summary report for end-of-day reporting and get high-level snapshots of your restaurant’s performance — all on one single screen!
3. Sapaad Direct and Sapaad.Online just got even better
We’ve updated Sapaad Direct — our QR-code based mobile self-ordering solution — and Sapaad.Online —our fully-integrated online ordering solution — with exciting new features and enhancements.
We’re continuously enhancing Sapaad Direct to improve usability and experience. You can now display up to three advertisements on your Sapaad Direct store to promote new items and special offers. In addition, we’ve standardized the restaurant logo size for Sapaad Direct and Sapaad POS to 150 x 50 pixels.
Sapaad.Online’s notification app now comes with an improved refresh rate and smoother notification transition once new orders arrive.
We’ve improved the workflow of country-wise online transactions through PayTabs.
We’ve updated your brand’s logo placement for better visibility.
We’ve updated the Modify and Repay features in a specific scenario for online paid orders with redeemed Loyalty to reflect the correct functionality.
We’ve fixed a bug which affected supervisor approval for order cancellations. In a particular scenario, an incorrect supervisor password entry resulted in an Internal Server Error instead of an Invalid Password pop up.
In a specific scenario, customers in Kuwait did not receive the OTP while placing their online orders. This has been resolved.
We’ve fixed an issue that does not display the menu page for a specific scenario.
We’ve fixed a bug to accurately display synced locations on the online store.
A rare situation where menu descriptions are not displayed accurately on Sapaad.Online has been fixed.
4. Important updates on Talabat Connect
We’ve updated Talabat Connect with important enhancements to stabilize the integration.
We’ve implemented Talabat Connect for Cloud Kitchens allowing the ability to have unique menus for specific branches.
We’ve optimized the menu sync functionality for improved usability and performance.
A bug that displayed inaccurate delivery addresses has been fixed.
A rare scenario where Arabic descriptions were not reflecting on the Menu Translation page has been addressed.
An issue in modifiers where duplicated items are missing has been fixed.
A bug that prevented grouped items from showing up on the Menu Translation page has been fixed.
Additional Fixes & Enhancements
- We’ve updated the login page with a link to the Terms of Service.
- We’ve improved the usability of the Close function for location-level announcements.
- We’ve addressed a scenario where deleted discounts were still available for walk-in and dine-in modules.
- We’ve resolved an issue that prevented the ability to proceed to menu or checkout when Pickup is enabled.
- We’ve revisited the logo placement in the header for enhanced UI.
- A rare issue when deleting tables while the Dine-In module is simultaneously opened on two tabs has been addressed.
- We’ve disabled cash rounding for transactions and enabled auto updates to the Android app, ensuring customers are always up to date with the app’s latest optimized version.
- We’ve strengthened Sapaad Core with the introduction of powerful and robust logging platforms for improved stability and even better performance.
- We’ve optimized Sapaad Menu Set Up for enhanced stability and performance.
- We’ve resolved a rare bug that prevented a delivery rider from being able to contact customers via the Delivery Assistant on iOS.
- We’ve fixed a bug that displayed the incorrect alert pop up when a main recipe with a sub-recipe is deleted. An appropriate error message is now being displayed.
- A rare printing misalignment issue for a specific printer has been fixed.
- A rare bug that allowed orders to be placed without items has been fixed.
- In Sapaad Connect, an issue with sales data not syncing from Sapaad to Xero has been fixed.
- In Sapaad Connect, we’ve resolved a bug that prevented inventory consumption tracking of orders from online food delivery platforms.
- We’re continuously enhancing Sapaad Direct to improve usability and experience. Customers can now display up to three advertisements on their Sapaad Direct store to promote new items and special offers. In addition, we’ve standardized the restaurant logo size for Sapaad Direct and Sapaad POS to 150 x 50 pixels.
- A rare occurrence where orders placed through Sapaad Direct do not print on the Kitchen Order Token has been fixed.
- A rare bug that performs inventory consumption for deleted order items has been fixed.
- We’ve resolved an issue that prevented Grouped Items on iOS and Android from being displayed.
